John and I are so thankful to be able to move back to Summerlin. We rented a two bedroom two bath apartment to wait out this transition in our life. John and I moved everything out of our old home in about 6 hours. It was hard; definitely a great workout. That night rested in Holiday Inn Express because our apartment wasn't going to be ready until the next day.
We are close to Red Rock National Park. A great place for hiking, 4 wheeling, rock climbing, and biking (esp. mountain biking). Summerlin is a master planned community - which is nice. People take care of their homes, it has a lot of paseos, parks, different events for the community. It feels much less deserty and more of a break from the Las Vegas lifestyle. For us, kind of an oasis. So this is our front entrance to our apartment, pool, front of complex, and a bunny outside our di
ning window. :)

ke a break.
